I just finished listening to The Whole New Mind (Audible) and watched some of the comics.
Listening to books, watching comics and storybooks (you watch them!) are not uncommon trends these days. Subscribe to trend central you will be updated every now and then about new trends in this world.
When my friend Harry’s father died, his most interesting inheritance was an envelope. (Does it remind you of The Ultimate Gift)? I don’t really know what was in that envelope, but Harry told me that it contains URL of some websites and few codes. Intellectual Property Rights have come a long way.
We will see something very new in the coming years. We are very lucky that we are able to see this metamorphism while we still have our own cognitive abilities.

  1. Death of the print media. I think print media have already started its last journey with the arrival of Amazon Kindle and Sony’s Reader.
  2. New ways to tell stories. I was totally immersed when I read my first Google map enabled story. “The 21 Steps”.
  3. There are new ways to learn. I am wrong here; it should be new ways to un-learn.
  4. Contrary to Mr. Dan Pink’s (author of The Whole New Mind) assumption about the next conceptual age will not belong to R-minded (R= Right) people but will be dominated by R- minded logicians/analysts/mathematicians/statisticians.
    These people will fuse mathematical equations in to an artwork.
  5. Prefer buying Feric, instead of expensive artworks.
  6. Don’t watch Wimbledon on your PC/Mac only, do the stress analysis of Roger’s knee joint or find out how much more swing was needed to make that volley unreachable for Nadal.
